Never Grow Up

Today I'm officially 40 days away from home..... :(
Remember my last post about Taylor Swift?
There's a song titled "Never Grow Up", this song really makes me cry and I just really want to come home.
Part of the song that I really like is

"Take pictures in your mind of your childhood room, memorize what is sounded like when your dad gets home, remember the footsteps, remember the words said, and all your lil' sister's favourite song, little brother's favorite toys. I just realized everything I had is someday gonna be gone. So here I am in my new apartment in a big city, wish I'd never grown up" 

I think I can feel the way Taylor felt when she wrote this song for her parents because if I had a chance to be a kid forever, it would be really nice. You don't have to face all the problems yourself because you mom and dad will help you for sure. Moreover, when you were child, mom and dad always understood what you want. it really makes everything seems so simple and easier than now.

"If the one you call best friend is the one who always understands you, your best friends are only GOD and your Mom"

I agree with that quotation because no matter how close you are with your friends, you are still fighting with each other if something doesn't go on your way. You still make mistakes and you can't easily forgive each other.

God knows you from the inside out so He always understands you and always leads you to the right way. The matter is we sometimes very stubborn and we don't believe in Him so we have some arguments with Him. It ends up when we just realized that He is right and we are wrong. The good thing is, you don't have to feel embarrassed because He always forgives us no matter how bad we are. 

It's just the same with our mom. No matter how bad we are, our mom is the first one who will forgive us even before we ask for forgiveness. The matter is just because our mom isn't God so sometimes she can't just understand our mind because we all change. It takes time for her to learn and then understand what we are thinking, and dealing with but eventually, she is the one who really understands us more than our best friends do.

Life is tough but it is simply just a game. 

There are always a ditch to make you more tougher

a turn right to make you wiser

and finally a U TURN to make you remember your family who always there whenever you need them.

Taylor Swift, Speak Now Album

Just downloaded the latest album of Country Music's Reigning Queen, Ms Taylor Swift.The album titled Speak Now which all the tracks are written by Taylor Swift, herself.

Taylor Swift has been recording her feelings in songs since she was just a young child. Her disappointments, triumphs, anger, fears, love and friendships have been well-documented in songs such as “Tim McGraw,” “Picture To Burn,” Fifteen,” and now "Mine", “Back To December,” and “Innocent” and all of the brand new songs from the album Speak Now. Taylor Swift admitted in an interview with VH1 that if you walk into her life, you may end up being a “character” in one of her songs.  The 20-year-old singer-songwriter urges everyone to write down how they feel – “in a journal, in a diary, in a letter you will never send to anybody, because it’s so important to diagnose your feelings, save them in some form of writing, because it just helps you feel like a more organized person.”

A Bit about Me and My Twisted World

Vanessa is an ordinary name for a girl which has a meaning of a butterfly. In 18^th May 1993, Vanessa became my name. It was suggested by my uncle, Mak Hadiyanto and both my parents agreed with that name. So here I am now, a 17-year-old girl named Vanessa.

Just like the ordinary name, I’m also an ordinary teenage girl who lives an extraordinary life. Well, sometimes I just feel that my life is dull but actually if you still can live your life, whatever your life might be, it is still precious. That’s why I call it an extraordinary life.

I have a big family. My main family consists of 6 people. They are my mommy, my daddy, my brothers, my sister, and I. I have one older brother, one little sister, and one little brother. I still have 2 grandmas and 2 grandpas. Besides them, I also have so many cousins, aunties, and uncles. So I really have one big family.
I have a closer relationship with my mother’s family rather than my dad’s because my family live in Makassar which means in the same city with most of my mom’s family while my dad’s is in Pare-pare. The different location makes us rarely meet each other which make us not really close. I only spend time in Pare-pare if it is Chinese New Year or my grandparent’s birthday.

But now my grandparents from my mom’s side and my mom’s brothers are living in Jakarta so we rarely see each other now. But we somehow have managed to spend holiday together. Last Christmas we were going to Malaysia and Singapore. Last vacation we spent time in China. There were 13 of us so it’s really fun although it was rather complicated too. (I will post the pictures and the detail of our trip in China later ^^,)

Besides spending time with family, I also love spending time with my friends and of course with myself too. I have some friends who go to the same school with me since I was in elementary school. We used to spend much time together at school and even outside school. But since high school we were busy with our own activities, communities, and problems that we rarely spent time together. I also joined the acceleration class while most of my friends took the regular one. So it made us difficult to spend time together. During my high school time I spend most of my time with my classmates. We also had a great time together. =)
Well as an ordinary teenage girl, I also love shopping, chatting with my friends, watching movies, reading novels, writing, listening to music, exercising, teasing my brothers and sisters even my friends, breaking the rules, and sometimes spending times doing nothing. I also like hanging out with my friends, having fun together, and baking cake with my mom (sometimes).

At the age of 17, I graduated from high school and decided to continue my study in Sydney, Australia. I’m going there on 30^th September with my mommy, daddy, and both my grandparents from my mom’s side. I have so many people who come with me =). Actually, besides accompanying me there they will also attend my brother’s graduation. For my grandparents it is their first grandson’s graduation and for my parents it is also the first one. So it’s a meaningful moment for both my parents and my grandparents.

Berlin ‘Cannibal’ Restaurant Calls for Diners to Donate Body Parts for Menu

A website advertising a new restaurant in Germany has called for humans to donate body parts for the menu causing outrage

The restaurant claims to be inspired by the 'compassionate cannibalism' of the Brazilian Waricaca tribe

The online campaign by Flime in Berlin has called for diners to “donate any part of their body” as well as looking for an “open-minded surgeon”.

However, politicians have condemned the restaurant for being a tasteless PR stunt according to Der Spiegel.

So far the location of the restaurant, if there is one, has not been disclosed.

“Members” willing to participate in the cannibal “Wari-culture” of the restaurant are asked to fill out a form.
It includes questions about medical fitness, Body Mass Index, how often one exercises and even if the donor is pregnant.

The restaurant claims to be inspired by the “compassionate cannibalism” of the Brazilian Waricaca tribe.
The website explains: “We see feasting as a spiritual act, in which the spirit and strength of the consumed creature is given to the guests.”

Michael Braun, vice chairman of Berlin’s Christian Democrats told Bild newspaper that he had received emails complaining about the restaurant. He said: “I am assuming it is a misguided joke. But it is disgusting.

“In particular because a resident of Berlin was murdered by a cannibal not too long ago.”

It is thought that he was referring to self-styled cannibal Armin Meiwes who was sentenced to life in 2006 after killing and eating a fellow Berliner who volunteered for the task.

Bernd Jurgen Brandes, a computer technician, volunteered to be eaten by Meiwes in 2001. The cannibal chopped off Brandes’ penis and ate it after cooking it in garlic, salt and pepper.

He continued to eat the corpse over the next few months. By the time he was arrested Meiwes had eaten around 44lb of flesh.
